Are you interested in working at the German Parliament?
If you're from Central, Eastern, or South Eastern Europe, France, Israel, North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, the Arab region, Namibia, or South Africa, here's an exciting opportunity for you! The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) at the German Bundestag offers a five-month program where you can experience the inner workings of the Bundestag, with three months spent working in a Member's office.
Every year, the German Bundestag, in collaboration with Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Technische Universität Berlin, grants approximately 120 scholarships to young university graduates from 50 countries. The program takes place from March 1st to July 31st, 2024.
The IPS program aims to:
- Foster relations between Germany and participating countries
- Strengthen democratic values and tolerance
- Deepen the understanding of cultural diversity
- Promote peaceful coexistence in the world
During the program, you'll participate in special events, seminars, and work placements with Members of the German Bundestag.
The application deadline is July 31st.
