Germany is set to host the first men's European Football Championship in the reunified nation from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The competition will unfold across ten dynamic venues in Berlin, Leipzig, Hamburg, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Munich, where 24 European teams will vie for the coveted title, seeking to dethrone the reigning European champion, Italy. Notably, Russia has been excluded from EURO 2024 due to its war of aggression on Ukraine.
The eagerly anticipated ticket sales kicked off on October 3. Applying a lottery system, ticket allocations will be determined through applications received until October 26, 2023. Each individual is eligible to secure a maximum of four tickets per game. Ticket holders can travel to the ten venues in Germany in an eco-friendly and discounted manner using the train.
