Christmas Fest & Online Auction

The German-Canadian Benevolent Society of BC will once again hold a live Christmas Fest event. All activities will be centred around the Atrium and adjacent rooms. You are invited to enjoy some German food, potato salad, sausages or Fleischkäse and Sauerkraut. There will be coffee and cake, beverages and their famous Glühwein. All the food and some baking can also be pre-ordered online for take-out.
The online auction will go live on Friday, 3 November 2023.

Auction items can be picked up on Saturday, 18 November 2023 during the live Christmas Fest event from 11 am to 3 pm in the Atrium.

Film Screening

The German-Canadian Benevolent Society sponsors the screening of the German movie Margarete Steiff.

Based on the life of German toymaker Margarete Steiff, the movie shows her long way from a 10-year-old girl, confined to a wheelchair, to one of the first and most successful creators of toy stuffed animals.
