The Saskatchewan German Council cordially invites you to a captivating event highlighting the life and achievements of Dr. Gerhard Herzberg, an eminent German-Canadian physicist. After leaving Germany due to Nazi persecution, Herzberg found refugee and a new academic home at the University of Saskatchewan. It was in Saskatoon that his pioneering research paved the way to winning the 1971 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
