Covid-19 regulations require continuous adaptation worldwide. All information provided correspond to the last known state of requirements.
As of January 1, 2022, Canada is considered a high risk area. This means that the below stated general entry restrictions apply. Also, every person from the age of 6 upwards is obliged to carry proof of their COVID‑19 status when entering Germany since December 23, 2021.
Following the requirements of the Canadian authorities, any person aged 12 years and over must be fully vaccinated to travel by air from Canada to a foreign country, including Germany. People wishing to apply for an exemption are invited to contact the Canadian authorities or their airline company. German authorities cannot intervene in this matter.
