Alexander von Humboldt School is a trilingual (German, English, French) independent private school founded in 1980 with the goal of providing a multilingual learning environment while satisfying both German and Quebecois  education requirements.

Alexander von Humboldt German International School Montréal a trilingual (German, English, French) independent private school governed by the “Alexander von Humboldt Ecole internationale allemande inc.” school association. It was founded in 1980 with the goal of providing a multilingual learning environment while satisfying both German as well as Quebec education requirements. According to the curriculum, students attend mandatory courses in natural sciences, social sciences and arts, resulting in a balanced and integral general education. The main language of instruction is German.

The Quebec Secondary School Diploma may be obtained at the end of Grade 11 and the German International Baccalaureate (Abitur) at the end of Grade 12.
Superbly located in Baie d'Urfé of Montreal's West Island, it boasts well equipped classrooms and a new sports centre.
