On the German Unity Day (Tag der deutschen Einheit) Dr. Ned Richardson-Little from the University of Erfurt, Germany, will hold a colloquium on the topic of “Human Rights in East Germany: Rethinking Solidarity, Socialism, and Democracy in the Cold War”. His research focuses on human rights international law, globalization and international crime. While on October 3, we will commemorate the reunification of Germany for the 29th time, on November 9, we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall.
