Under the motto ‘political art’ the General Consulate of Germany hosts in collaboration with the University of British Columbia an Artist Talk with the German artist Ulrich Reimkasten and Prof. T’ai Smith. Ulrich Reimkasten is a contemporary artist and has been a professor of painting and textile arts at the Burg Giebichenstein Art School in Halle, Germany, until 2018. Prof. T’ai Smith is an Associate Professor at the Department of Art History, Visual Art & Theory at the University of British Columbia and the recipient of several awards.
