Borussia Dortmund lost a charity match organized to support the people of Ukraine. The Bundesliga club lost 2:3 in its own stadium to Dynamo Kiev.

Dynamo Kiev - the record champion with 16 Ukrainian championships and 13 Soviet titles before that - has 11 current national team players in its lineup. Ukraine plays its first 2022 World Cup qualifier against Scotland on June 1. If it wins, it will face Wales three days later for the final spot in Qatar.

Around 35,000 spectators gave BVB a revenue of 400,000 euros, which will benefit victims of the Russian attack on Ukraine.
