Free film screening and discussion in celebration of the legalization of same-sex marriage in Switzerland.
The Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver, SFU Woodward's Cultural Programs and the Vancouver Queer Film Festival invite you to an exclusive screening of “WET SAND” (2021) by Elene Naveriani.

Synopsis “Wet Sand”:
A village at the Georgian Black Sea where people believe to know each other. One day, Eliko is found hanged. His granddaughter visits the town for the funeral and discovers that Eliko was hiding his relationship to Amnon for over 20 years.
