As Consul General Dr. Schmidt retired on 01.072022, Minister Ralston was so thoughtful to pay him a short farewell visit. The wine that Dr. Schmidt presented to Minister Ralston as a farewell gift was an “ Escherndorfer Lump, Riesling Kabinett”.
This Franconian wine has not yet been offered by the BC Liquor Board and Dr. Schmidt invited Minister Ralston and representatives of the Liquor Board to stop in Lower Franconia on their next trip to Germany. In addition, he gave Minister Ralston his farewell greetings for Premier Horgan.
