We all look with horror at the war in Ukraine. 

Russia today uses winter and cold as a weapon against civil society. Millions of Ukrainians are without heating, electricity or water supply. They urgently need relief supplies such as generators, stoves, warm clothes and much more. We all know that Ukraine is not only defending its own country with incredible bravery in this brutal war, it also stands for democracy and the right of peoples to self-determination and inviolable borders.

In solidarity with Ukraine, the German Embassy in Canada, the German Consulates and the German Canadian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, in cooperation with the Canadian Red Cross make an urgent request: Help to keep people in need warm and sheltered!
