Throughout 2023, the Goethe-Institut presents virtual screenings of recent German cinema, freely available Canada-wide.

The year-long “Echo-Verse” program consists of a total of six “double features”, two films that look at a connecting idea from different perspectives. The program Then & Now, which deals with intergenerational trauma, kicks things off.
