The Saskatchewan German Council has a special treat in store for book lovers of all ages!
On May 18 at 6:30 p.m. CST, join award-winning author and illustrator Miriam Körner for a book reading of her latest work, “Fox and Bear.”
Snuggle up with your blanket and favorite stuffy as you listen to the tale of two forest friends whose lives are turned upside down when one of them decides to boost productivity with a series of inventions. With stunning illustrations crafted from recycled cardboard, “Fox and Bear” is a modern fable that poses existential questions to readers of all ages.
Miriam Körner, originally from Germany, lives near La Ronge with her husband and their ten sled dogs.
No knowledge of German is required to enjoy this event, so bring the whole family along for an evening of literary entertainment!
