To mark the 75th anniversary of German Canadian diplomatic relations, the Embassy in Ottawa and the Consulates General in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver are organizing various events and are inviting companies to contribute through sponsorship. This cooperation is based on the federal government's sponsorship guidelines.

As part of an attractive program spanning the whole of 2026, areas of cooperation between Germany and Canada will be highlighted, with cultural events being held in the representative rooms of the aforementioned German missions, as well as other suitable venues. Examples include concerts, World Cup viewing parties, celebrations for German Unity Day and other events attended by high-ranking guests from the worlds of politics, business and society. Sponsorship offers companies the opportunity to participate in these events and gain visibility as a business operating in Canada in front of a large audience. These events provide a unique platform for building and maintaining valuable networks.
