In recent years, co-operation with Canada has developed in many very positive ways, it covers broad topic themes, and includes many different stakeholders from politics, science and industry. Despite the current COVID situation, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research together with the Canadian partners: Global Affairs Canada and the National Research Council of Canada, would like to invite you to a virtual kick-off event: “50 Years of German-Canadian Cooperation in Science and Technology” on the occasion of the anniversary.

The event will be held online from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. CEST on May 7, 2021.

In addition to high-ranking representatives from both countries (ministers/ambassadors), stakeholders from Germany and Canada will report live on their cooperation experiences. Via ‘Slido’ you will be able to ask questions about current trends and future fields of action in our co-operation.
