Visitors Programme of the Federal Republic of Germany: Massey College

We proudly announce that, together with the Goethe-Institut, we have once again organized an information trip to Germany for Massey College Journalism Fellows.

The programme of Massey College gathers esteemed Canadian and international journalists for a year of education, reflection and fellowship. Thereby, the graduate college within the University of Toronto offers journalists in their mid-career a chance to broaden their horizons from a more academic perspective.
For one week, this group of journalists will have the opportunity to meet German colleagues, discuss current topics and thereby strengthen the German-Canadian media dialogue. The diverse and extensive schedule includes meetings with renowned German news magazines and broadcasters, civil society organizations, members of parliament and government agencies, allowing for in-depth exchange on the most important issues faced by both Germany and Canada alike: Energy and Climate policy, Immigration and Integration, Remembrance Culture and Reconciliation, transatlantic partnership and more.
The partnership between the Massey College Journalism Fellowship and the German Consulate General in Toronto looks back on a decades-long successful cooperation.
