Canada's Democracy Summit is connecting, celebrating and equipping people who are taking action to strengthen democracy and civil society. Join us at OCAD University and Toronto Metropolitan University as we take on today’s most urgent civic issues under the thematic banner “Courage Through Chaos.”

OCAD University, Toronto Metropolitan University and Open Democracy Project are once again organizing the DemocracyXChange Summit DXC24, Canada’s annual summit for the emerging democracy sector and leaders who want to help build democratic resilience.

Clara Kallich will be the guest of the Goethe-Institut at DXC24. Clara Kallich is the founder and project manager of ‘Youth Lead the Change Germany’, a youth participation project that uses part of a municipal budget via a digital voting platform to decide which project proposals are to be realized in the respective cities. She also currently supports the executive of ‘Join Politics’, an initiative that fosters political talents and promotes innovative approaches to politics that are discovered and promoted outside the established structures. Clara was previously an intern at the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations in New York as well as in the U.S. House of Representatives and the German Parliament.
