You ever miss the '80s? Wild hairstyles, bright fashion, mixtapes and neither internet nor smartphones that can distract you from your Rubic Cube… Well, this year's Toronto Ice Fest may not bring back the '80s, but it will definitely bring back memories. Under the title “Awesome '80s ”, Feburary 8th and 9th will see over 70,000 lbs of ice in various shapes and colors celebrating the '80s. Sculptures of Converse sneakers, Madonna, a Boombox and many more – and as in previous years, we will be there as well presenting a “very German reminiscence of the 80s in Gemany”. In Germany, the '80s also were a time full of crazy and exciting things and music that still resonates today - but what could our sculpture possibly show?
