Join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF), a cherished tradition launched at the Goethe-Institut in 2005 that showcases contemporary European cinema to audiences across Canada.
Germany is celebrating this festival with the film “One Million Minutes” (Germany 2024, 120 min), starring A-listers Tom Schilling and Karoline Herfurth. This heartfelt film follows a family as they navigate life's challenges after discovering their daughter Nina has a fine motor disorder. Inspired by a true story, the film captures their journey in search of quality time and a simpler way of life.
Screening will take place in-person at the Alliance Française on November 22, with the film streaming online from December 1 to 17. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the best of contemporary European cinema!
