The Deutsche Sprachschulen (Metro Toronto) Inc. (DSS) is a not-for-profit organization that has been offering German Saturday school programs for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 since 1956.

1. Registration Now Open for 2025/2026!

We’re pleased to announce that online registration for the 2025/2026 school year is now open. Register by August 1st to take advantage of our early bird discount.

We encourage all families — new and returning — to register now to secure your spot and help us plan for another fantastic year of learning and cultural experiences. Classes begin in September 2025 and run through June 2026 for students from Kindergarten to High School.

New this year: Adult classes are available at our Scarborough and Toronto Central West (Etobicoke) locations.

1. Jahresabschlussfeier / End of Year Celebration

Congratulations to our DSD students who received their diplomas at the consulate! We’re thrilled to look back on another successful and inspiring year of learning. All three of our school locations — Toronto Central West, Richmond Hill, and Scarborough — held end-of-year celebrations to recognize our students’ hard work and progress.

1. Teaching Opportunities for 2025/2026

We are seeking enthusiastic and creative German teachers to join our dedicated teams of educators. The ideal candidates are passionate about teaching the German language and culture, enjoy working with children and teens, and value collaboration with colleagues and families. Classes are Saturday mornings for three hours throughout the academic year. If you are interested, please contact the relevant school management.
