UdK’s Virtual Colloquium series, developed in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Toronto, took place in January 2026 as part of the winter semester. The online lectures examined art and design as political and cultural mirrors of society, addressing topics such as censorship, speculative futures, global power structures, and underrepresented perspectives.

Featuring contributions by Skawennati, Caitlin Fisher, and international artists and researchers, the series brought together critical voices from Canada and Europe. All lectures are freely available online, extending the dialogue beyond the live events and making the discussions accessible to a broad international audience.
