In celebration of Black History Month, we are screening a film about two Afro-German sisters on their journey towards self-discovery.

Ivie’s sense of self begins to unravel when her half-sister unexpectedly appears, not only telling her about their father’s upcoming funeral in Senegal but also, more importantly, making Ivie confront the everyday racism she faces as an Afro-German. This powerful debut film delves into themes of self-realization, identity, and diversity.
