The Concordia German Language Association is pleased to announce that registration is now open for German language classes for the 2026/2027 school year in Waterloo, Ontario.

All classes are held in person on Friday evenings in Waterloo, providing students and adults with the opportunity to learn and strengthen their German language skills in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Classes for School-Aged Students

School-aged students can register for classes at a variety of German language proficiency levels. The program also offers preparation for German A1 and A2 language examinations, as well as the DSD I and DSD II examinations.

These programs provide students with the opportunity to develop their German language skills while preparing for recognized German language examinations.

Adult German Classes

Adult learners can choose from the following levels:

A1.1 – beginner German

A1.2 – continuing beginner German

B1.1 – intermediate German

Whether starting German for the first time or building on existing knowledge, adult learners can develop their language skills through in-person instruction and a supportive learning environment.

Tuition and Registration

Tuition for the 2026/2027 school year is $500 for school-aged students and $600 for adult learners, plus the cost of textbooks.

Teaching Opportunities with Concordia German Language Association

The Concordia German Language Association is also seeking experienced German language teachers for the 2026/2027 school year.

Kindergarten Teacher: An experienced German language teacher for a new kindergarten class.

Supply Teacher: A qualified German language teacher to provide occasional coverage for elementary classes held on Fridays from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in person in Waterloo, Ontario.
