This September, the German-Canadian Congress in Manitoba is excited to announce that we are participating in the 2026 Culture Days Festival! The Culture Days Festival is a province-wide festival that encourages organizations to offer free arts, culture, and heritage experiences for the public. This wonderful opportunity introduces new audiences to different cultures, traditions, music, dance, food, art, language, history, and community through free events during the festival.

Our event is “Learn about Berlin and fill your own Berliner!” On Saturday, September 26th, we welcome you to join us as a group of University of Manitoba students present their experience in Germany through the lens of their travel course. Come discover one of their favourite stops, Germany's capital city, Berlin! If you missed our Folklorama pavilion with the same theme in August, now is your chance to stop by and enjoy what Berlin in Winnipeg has to offer. We will have a small display of cultural items for your viewing pleasure to learn more. Finally, we will enjoy a staple Berlin treat, Berliners.
