On Friday, June 21 at 2 PM, Dr. Leila Pirmoradi from Iran will give a public lecture at the Atrium in Vancouver. Dr. Pirmoradi is a trained nurse and physiologist, currently serving as an assistant professor at the Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on diabetes, stem cell biology, and cancer.

The talk, held in English, will explore the complex relationship between sugars and metabolic diseases, with particular attention to the challenges of diabetes in the elderly. Dr. Pirmoradi is known for her clear and engaging speaking style and her ability to make complex medical topics accessible to a broad audience.

The event is free and open to the public. All those interested in health, nutrition, and aging are warmly invited to attend.
