Applications are currently being accepted for the International Parliamentary Scholarship, a program which offers socially engaged, recent university graduates the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into Germany’s parliamentary system.

At the heart of the program is a three-month internship in the office of a Member of the Bundestag, Germany's national parliament. An initial two-month phase introduces program participants to key aspects of Germany's political system and its historical and social context. The next iteration of the program runs from March to July 2027.

Applicants must have completed a university degree and have very good German language skills.

Application deadline
The German Bundestag is accepting applications for the 2027 IPS cohort until July 31, 2026.
