DAAD has set the fall deadlines for a number of their programs supporting study, research and internships in Germany:
- September 23, 2026 – Study Scholarship – Postgraduate Studies in the Field of Architecture
- September 24, 2026 – Study Scholarship – Postgraduate Studies in the Field of Music
- October 15, 2026 – Study Scholarship – Postgraduate Studies in the Fields of Fine Art, Design, Visual Communication and Film
- October 15, 2026 – Study Scholarship – Postgraduate Studies in the Field of Performing Arts
- October 15, 2026 – Re-Invitation Grant (for former holders of DAAD Study Scholarships or Research Grants six months or longer)
- October 15, 2026 – Study Visits for Artists and Architects
- October 30, 2026 – Research Grants in Germany (PhD / Postdocs)
- October 30, 2026 – Study Scholarship – Master All Academic Disciplines
- October 30, 2026 – Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees / Cotutelle
- October 30, 2026 – University Summer Course Grant (for German language learners at Bachelor, Master’s or PhD level)
- November 1, 2026 – German Studies Research Grant (Bachelor, Master’s & PhD students)
DAAD Student Funding Programs for 2027-28

This session will provide details on DAAD’s funding programs in support of study, research and internships in Germany during 2027-28. The information presented will be relevant to students in all fields and at all stages of study (Bachelor, Master’s or PhD).

Webinar: Funding in Germany for Students in the Natural Sciences & Engineering
Thursday, October 22nd - 12:30 - 1:30 pm EST (9:30 - 10:30 am PST)
This session aimed at students in the Natural Sciences or Engineering will be presented in partnership with Canada's Mitacs and will present funding programs in support of research, internships and study in Germany. It will be relevant to students at all stages of study (Bachelor, Master's or PhD
