Lecture

St. Mark's Lutheran Church will host a lecture titled “Germans and North American Indigenous Peoples: A History of Relations – Between Romanticization, Historical Encounters and Modern Criticism” on Friday, September 25 at 6:30 pm. The lecture, presented by Dr. Claudia Launhardt on behalf of the German Council Pacific Coast, a non-profit cultural foundation, will be held in English and explores the complex relationship between Germans and Native North Americans, moving beyond stereotypes to encourage a respectful dialogue on contemporary Indigenous self-determination.
