Germany is represented at this week’s IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Exposition (ECCE) in Vancouver, one of the leading international conferences on power electronics and energy conversion.

Researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology (IISB) are in Vancouver as part of the conference programme. On October 4, Elias Berschneider and Dr. Markus Meindl joined experts from AVL List GmbH for a full-day tutorial on the stability of complex power distribution systems, covering applications from electric aircraft and marine systems to industrial microgrids and data centres.

The German experts are still in Vancouver this week. ECCE runs through October 8, while AVL is exhibiting at the Vancouver Convention Centre on October 5 and 6.
