A delegation of German small and medium-sized enterprises from the aerospace sector will visit Calgary from October 6 to 9 as part of a business development programme organised by the German-Canadian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The companies offer solutions in areas including sustainable aircraft technologies, lightweight structures, cabin innovation, advanced air mobility, training and simulation, and digitalisation. In Calgary, the delegation will meet Canadian companies, research institutions and industry organisations, including the University of Calgary’s Aerospace Innovation Hub, and visit Calgary International Airport.

The programme is part of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s market development programme for SMEs and aims to build new business and technology partnerships between Germany and Canada.
