On January 18, Chemnitz officially kicked off its year as the European Capital of Culture with a grand celebration!
After years of preparation, the city now shares this prestigious title with Nova Gorica in Slovenia.
Visitors can expect a captivating cultural experience against a backdrop of Art Nouveau, industrial and GDR architecture and post-socialist modernism.
Under the motto “C the Unseen,” numerous projects will bring hidden gems to life and foster connections between people.
