Overview of visa fees
Please note that fees are payable in Canadian dollars. The German Consulate Toronto accepts credit cards and cash. Cash payments are accepted in CAD only. Payments by credit card are billed in EUR and are based on the current exchange rate of the German Consulate Toronto.

For applicants under the age of 6 no visa processing fee is charged.
Please note that according to a EU council decision of January 1, 2006, Schengen visa fees for nationals of the following countries, except for cases where the general fee exemptions above apply, are €35.00:
- Albania
- Armenia
- Azerbaijan
- Belarus
- Bosnia Herzegovina
- Cape Verde
- Georgia
- Macedonia
- Moldova
- Montenegro
- Serbia
- Ukraine
Please note that the fees listed above are service fees and will not be reimbursed if a visa is denied or the application is withdrawn by the applicant.
