The German Program of the Department of German and Slavic Studies at the University of Manitoba is always looking for new and innovative ways to encourage University students to learn German and study German culture and history.

Many of their students came up with creative projects and papers during their classes. This year the students wanted to acknowledge the work of these students by organizing an undergraduate conference. The purpose of the conference was to showcase and celebrate undergraduate research, as well as giving students a platform to share their work but also encouraging other students to consider working in this field of study.

This years's presentations focused on all fields related to German and Slavic Studies, such as language, literature, history, popular culture, film, music, philosophy, psychology, pedagogy etc. Each presentation was limited to 15 minutes. Based on feedback from the audience, the top presenters will received an award. Congratulations to all who participated!
