To emphasize the personal connection and the incredible pervasiveness of the project, the virtual exhibition STOLPERSTEINE: STORIES THROUGH GENERATIONS brings the stories of several Canadian families alive through the strong narrative of audio interviews and private family images. The goal is to preserve the memory and the deeply moving personal stories and insights for future generations as well as to act as an access point for further education and discussion. These stories reveal intimate personal memories and documents and reclaim a lost world through the power of stories. Take a first glimpse during the exhibition opening, and join us for a virtual guided tour on May 5, 10 a.m. with contributing photographer Marnie Salsky and Anna Warda from the Stolpersteine Project, Germany.
A huge thank you to our project partners Ryerson University Library, the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre, Stiftung Spuren Gunter Demnig and Stolpersteine Berlin.
