Article

Twice a year, we are discovering Toronto's German roots during our in person GermanWalkTO . We are walking again on Saturday, May 14th, with tour guide Bruce Bell. Register for a free walking experience through Toronto. This walk will be in English language.

Toronto is a city of neighbourhoods, and many of them have an ethnic history. Cabbagetown, Chinatown, Little Italy, Little India, Roncesvalles Village (Polish), or The Danforth (Greek) are just some examples. While Germans in Toronto don’t have one particular neighbourhood to call their own, many German influences can be found across the city. Twice a year we are discovering these German roots during our German Walk. The fall edition of our in person GermanWalkTO will be in German language and guided by Iris Schweiger.

Free registration with limited space available. If you RSVP, please be mindful and be sure to attend or cancel in time if you can’t in order to accommodate others.

Please note this event will be photographed and video-captured.
