The application window to DAAD's popular RISE Germany and RISE Professional internship programs for students in programs related to the Natural Science or Engineering is open and both programs are accepting applications until the November 30, 2024 deadline.

RISE Germany provides undergraduate students (typically 2nd or 3rd years) with a chance to complete a three month research internship in the lab of a German PhD student. No German is required; the working language in the lab is English.

RISE Professional is aimed at graduate-level students and facilitates the completion of a workplace internship in Germany of up to 6 months in length. While the database includes opportunities where the working language is English, knowledge of German expands applicants' options considerably.
