Are you an international student interested in studying in Germany? The Heinrich Böll Foundation offers scholarships, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Foreign Office, to graduates and doctoral students from around the world. These scholarships support individuals who are committed to the values of democracy, ecology, solidarity, and non-violence, and who take active socio-political roles.

The foundation supports talented individuals who align with the goals of the Green project, providing financial assistance to help them pursue their studies in Germany. Please note that undergraduate students are not eligible for this scholarship.

Key Details:

Application Deadlines: March 1st and September 1st

Application Process: Online applications only; the portal opens about 6 weeks before the deadline

Language Requirement: Proficiency in German is required (at least B2 Level or DSH2)
