Balancing multiple roles, she works as a warehouse clerk, plays the clarinet in two orchestras, and competes in athletic disciplines at the Special Olympics. She is also a skilled snowshoe athlete. Her modeling career has taken her to fashion shoots for brands like Adidas and Hugo Boss, appearing in renowned magazines such as Vogue. As an actor, she has starred in films including Fack ju Göhte 3, which was viewed by six million people in Germany.
Tamara’s journey speaks to the values of equality and inclusion that are integral to Germany’s society. The German government takes equal opportunities for people with disabilities seriously, and Tamara is a living example of the potential that can be realized when everyone is given the chance to shine. Germany was one of the first countries to sign the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and the National Action Plan (NAP 2.0) continues to strengthen inclusion in education, the workplace, and beyond.
